A traveler’s starting point for cannabis laws, local restrictions, and the details behind the label.
Before you travel: Do not use this directory as an instruction to carry cannabis anywhere. Check current official rules for your destination and every transit point, including rules for CBD and prescribed products. Each traveler must make their own informed decisions.
Directory in progress: Some state overview labels are based on NCSL's legislative summary and do not independently verify up-to-date visitor rules, current retail availability or every local restriction. Entries labeled “Not yet verified” are placeholders, not legal classifications. The worldwide list currently includes selected countries only. Rules change, and an entry's research date is not a guarantee the law remains current.

AnguillaPilot ended; verify
Cannabis remains illegal under Anguillan law. A 2024–2025 pilot directed police not to enforce specified penalties for adults in limited circumstances. The original reporting described residents aged 18 or older, up to 10 grams for personal use and up to four plants, with use confined to residential or private areas. These were pilot guidelines, not a guarantee of current legal permission.
The pilot ended in December 2025. Police reportedly continued its guidelines while reviewing the policy, but we have not verified whether those guidelines still apply or whether visitors are covered. Public use was outside the pilot; private accommodations may have their own restrictions. Sale and trafficking remained subject to enforcement. Contact Anguilla authorities and your accommodation for current rules before traveling. Do not carry cannabis across borders.

Recreational cannabis is illegal.
